Yesterday I visited the incredible Greece. I watched a sport called "Chariot Racing" It is a very interesting sport, so I asked the people beside me, because he seemed to know everything about Chariot Racing. He explained me everything he know about chariot racing. Here is some facts about it. Chariot racing is a popular public game or sport.

This game involves horses. There are 2 to 4 horses pulling the carriages, chariot, or small cart, driven by a charioteer. A charioteer is the people that will be in the small cart or chariot that will be pulled by the horses. The charioteer has to control the horse from go into left or to the right, to stop, and to go. The charioteer is very important, because without the charioteer the horse don't know the ways.

 In  Greece, the course was across the countryside, around a turn marked by a tree stump and white stones, and back to the straight point. Lots of the course were drawn to determine the starting positions. One charioteer was warned by his father that success in the race is determine of the speed of the horses pulling the chariot racing. The chariot race was of ten the first and most spectacular of the events. The course was often consisted of 12 double laps, nearly 14 km (9 mi) in all.

The most important race was for teams of four horses controlled by one driver. The owners of these teams ware nobles, and the victory wreaths were awarded to the owners. By the early 7 th century driver standing up. Accidents were frequent and emotions often reach a high pitch. Sometimes there were 40 people racing, but only one person finishes.
