Message from Head of School

Sekolah Pelita Harapan International is an International Christian School System located in Indonesia offering international standards of education. We aim to prepare our students to contribute significantly in a global society. SPHI is internationally acknowledged as an excellent school through accreditation with the Council of International Schools (CIS) as well as the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and membership of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). We also contribute to the Association of National Plus Schools in. The curriculum is internationally recognized and accredited through the world renowned International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). Teachers are recruited from domestic, as well as from overseas, including the United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. All teachers and staff are involved in professional development programs which enable continuous improvements to take place. The content of our teaching as well as methods of teaching are international best practice. Our students are challenged to succeed academically. They are also challenged to reach their potential in cultural, artistic, service and sporting areas. Our goal is that our students will become qualified leaders of and effective global citizens as disciples of Jesus Christ. Teaching and Learning takes place in an environment that encourages high standards in every area while at the same time being supportive, enjoyable and friendly.
