IB World School

SPH International Lippo Cikarang has been an IB World School since 2005.  In 2008, the school was authorized to offer the Primary Years Program to students in 3 -year- old Kindergarten to Grade 6.  Authorization in the prestigious Diploma Program students in Grade 11 and Grade 12 was earned in 2005.  For more information about the International Baccalaureate Organization, please visit www.ibo.org.

Kindergarten – K1, K2, K3

SPH International Kindergarten is a three-year program specially designed to meet the needs of three, four and five-year-old children.  Our child-centered curriculum with its hands-on approach to learning focuses on broad concepts.  Small group instruction is preferred. This maximizes the attention each teacher can give to each child.

Junior School – Grades 1-6

SPH International offers a rich learning environment for junior school children. Students from Grade 1 through 6 learn through inquiry and authentic experiences. Teachers guide students in relevant, engaging and challenging tasks to develop knowledge of concepts and skills. Junior school students learn to take responsibility for their learning by being thoughtful and taking appropriate action.   They are also taught socially responsible attitudes towards other people and the environment. 

Middle School – Grades 7-10

Students in Grade 7 through 10 engage in a rigorous program that prepares them for success in high school.  The curriculum focuses on developing academic skills and content knowledge.  Strong emphasis is placed on written and oral communication skills in English.  Students are offered a comprehensive selection of subjects including the Arts, Humanities, Science, Information Technology, Mathematics and Languages

High School – Grades 11 -12

SPH International is authorized to offer the prestigious IB Diploma Programme for Grade 11 and 12. The IB Diploma Programme is a demanding pre-university course of study that prepares students for leadership. Diploma students develop critical thinking skills and are required to perform at a high academic standard. The IB Diploma is an excellent preparation for students desiring to attend world class universities where a strong knowledge of academic English is demanded.
