SPH International is partnered with the prestigious International Baccalaureate Organization.  This partnership allows the school to stay cutting edge in pedagogy and in curricula.  SPH is authorized to run the prestigious Primary Years Program (PYP) and highly-acclaimed Diploma Program (DP).

Holistic Education
SPH International provides a true holistic education.  Children are provided a rigorous academic program.   Additionally, teachers help children develop emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually.  After-school programs provide opportunities in athletics, academics, and the fine arts for students in Grade 1 through Grade 12.

Language of Instruction

At SPH International English is the primary language of instruction. 

·         Students make significant progress by working with the best teachers in Indonesia and from around the world.

·         Bahasa Indonesia is provided by Indonesian teachers for mother-tongue language support for Indonesian students and as a foreign language for expatriate students.

·         A full-time Korean language teacher is on staff for mother-tongue language support for Korean students in grades 1-6 and as a AI language offered in the IB Diploma Program.

Fine Arts Program
SPH International offers a diverse arts program in art, dance, drama, and music.  The campus is equipped with two music rooms, two art rooms, and a dance room.  Students performed the musical “Oliver Twist” at Gedung Kesenian Jakarta on May 12, 2007.  SPH celebrated the fine arts at the November, 2008 Fine Arts Festival.

Diversity
SPH International students come from all over the world.  More than 50% of SPHLC’s students are Indonesian and 35% are South Korean.  Additionally, students come from the United States, Philippines, Peru, India, Malaysia, Japan, and Taiwan.  SPHLC expatriate teachers come fro.
