PYP
The Primary Years Program is a student-focused inquiry based approach to education. Each level follows six transdisciplinary units, which use concepts to build a body of knowledge, develop essential skills, foster positive attitudes and provide the opportunity for students to take positive action in their environment.
The Primary Years Program is a curriculum developed from a range of national systems that are relevant, challenging and engaging for students in an international arena. The curriculum is focused on developing the whole child – a child who is engaged and driven by the attitudes and dispositions described in the PYP student profile.

Sekolah Pelita Harapan International, Bukit Sentul, has been a PYP school since 2001 and received PYP authorization in 2003. The teaching and system of education utilized at SPHI has been developed and refined to create a genuine understanding of the concepts that are taught, and provide an opportunity for engagement for each individual child.
